Position Summary

Responsible for accurate typing, collection of payments made by clients, answering telephones, and maintaining, copying, and filing system.

Responsibilities:
Greet and sign-in participants and visitors.
Answer telephone and direct calls or take messages as appropriate.
Process requests for clerical assistance, e.g.,typing, photocopying, Faxing, etc.
Open and close facility each day, following proper procedures.
Assist in coordinating participant transportation needs.
Sort and date stamp all incoming mail. Be responsible for postage machine and scale. Prepare paperwork for overnight mail services as necessary.
Maintain and reconcile cash drawer.
Collect participant co-pays and render accurate receipts.
Maintain office filing system.
Perform other duties as requested by Clerical Staff Supervisoe or other Administrative personnel.
Requirements

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED; education and/or experience equivalent to 1 year preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Possess knowledge of general filing system.
Must be computer literate and possess ability to type approximately 35 wpm with 85% accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to operate basic office equipment, e.g., computer, copier, FAX, switchboard.
Possess valid driver's license, reliable transportation and phone.
Ability to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
Willingness to work evenings.
Ability to type and working knowledge/familiarity with computers and electronic clinical record keeping.
Must obtain a Fingerprint clearance card and pass a background check.
