BIM Manager Job Posting

Hirsch Bedner Associates is an established leading international hotel design firm seeking motivated, passionate, energetic talented individuals to join the HBA team. As a result of a growing industry, Hirsch Bedner Associates Atlanta is seeking experienced BIM Manager.

The BIM Manager is responsible for developing and delivering project models and drawings and the delivery of consistent, efficient and high quality technical services. The position reports directly to the Partners and Associates within each studio.

Maintain the Revit development and BIM initiative across multiple offices.

Develop and maintain Revit/CAD templates and content.

Upholds an awareness of the design direction and anticipate staff needs in terms of project construction documents and drawings. Coordinate and control retrieval of documents.

Assist coordination of projects and review feedback from projects prime consultants and contractors.

Assists project teams during construction phases with addenda, bulletins, document modifications, substitutions and submittals.

Collaborates Information Technology (IT) Team in researching, implementing, coordinating applicable software applications relevant to the standards for the office.

On-site troubleshooting of software issues and adherence to standards


10+ years of professional documentation practice experience.

5+ years of Revit/CAD experience.
*(Expert skills set in Revit and AutoCAD)

Experience with:

  • Strong verbal, written, presentation and technical skills
  • Building Information Modeling (BIM), specifically Autodesk's Revit Interior Design Modeling, AutoCAD, Blue Beam, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, MS Office strongly preferred
  • Experience with elements of BIM 360 Construction Management Software.
  • Strong technical background with the design professions and construction industry, codes, regulations and standards.
  • Ability to identify design issues and provide virtual simulations in 3D MAX
