The Bath and Body Works (BBW) Safe and Secure Ambassador’s (SSA) role protects people, brand, and property in their home store environment. The mission of a SSA is to assist the store team in preventing and minimizing risk of life safety and theft & fraud events through consistent communication, partnerships, and education at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Support sales by engaging customers and associates at the front of the store with a strong command presence
- Greet customers with a smile and eye contact
- Provide in store support during life safety, emergency response and safety incidents
- Assist stores leadership team and associates with driving a strong physical security culture by educating and upholding all BBW policies and procedures
- Problem solve extreme store events using brand de-escalation tactics
- Collect, document, and communicate AP trends and intelligence
- Assist in, document and communicate all merchandise recoveries using Company tools
- Assist with Shrink Protection Program assessment follow up/execution on action plans
- Collaborate with RAPM to follow up on safety and security incidents
- Communicate Theft & Fraud intelligence with RAPM and store Leadership
- Submit appropriate documentation in the system for all ORC incidents following BBW AP policy and procedures
- Work with law enforcement and RAPM to identify and resolve open cases
- Assist the SLT team with modeling working safely while maintaining clean stores for customers and sales associates
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Educate and develop the team regarding shortage and safety behaviors.
- All other duties based on the business needs and direction of the SM and/or RAPM
Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older
- Meet any state or local certification/license and/or other legal requirements related to the position
- Flexible work schedules to include nights, weekend, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Effective communication
- Experiencing learning and adapting to different technology needs and changes
- Strong ability to work independently and with a team
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
