Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Very strong experience in Unix Server builds
· Strong experience in Cisco UCS, NetApp, Hitachi
· L3 resources with Linux administration with strong hands on experience working on LDOM's, Zones, Veritas Cluster, Veritas Volume manager.
· L3 resources with Linux advanced OS administration skill capable of trouble shooting any production down P0/P1, strong knowledge on Oracle RAC cluster with capability of rebuilding any server crashes.
· Experience on Linux/Client-UX administration in a large enterprise setting.
· Experience in (Oracle VM LDOM/ CDOM- Zones - Container / OEM Ops Center) & Linux
· Experience in Docker deployment
· Experience on Linux/Client-UX administration in a large enterprise setting.
· Should be expert and design Cluster based on Geo level, multi DC, Storage integration, Cluster FS, understand application design complexity and product fitment from H/W, S/W, costing perspective
· Should be expert in UNIX (Linux/Client-UX) design of Mass UNIX Installation & Migration, Firmware, Enterprise patching Solution, OS Hardening, NIS/LDAP, LVM/VxVM, KVM, Mpath etc.
· Should be experience on ITIL process
· Should be expert in OS network areas (IPMP, Bonding, VLAN Tagging)
· Hands on experience in a Unix environment with design and implementation of servers
· Playing pivotal role in UNIX H/W sizing, capacity planning, UNIX hosting architecture Sign off from client
· Exposure to component architecture and modelling techniques, architectural frameworks and patterns
· Ensure accuracy of UNIX inventory based on the CMDB.
· Install the Endpoint Management Security Suite (Ivanti) patch agent on all managed UNIX based systems.
· Resolve vulnerabilities identified by the Enterprise Vulnerability Management team.
· Deploy Security patches using Ivanti.
· Troubleshoot and resolve Ivanti agent issues.
· Good Knowledge on CyberArk
Must Have:
· Primary Skill: Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Ivanti tool for all UNIX servers (Mandatory)
