What we need (in addition to all that stuff above)
Our Bellevue Home Office is seeking a Project Manager! This person will be responsible for leading and managing small and large technology projects that are related to mortgage loan production. This position will work with executives, managers, administration, support and end users to create and manage a complete project plan, as well as elicit and document new workflow requirements required for the project. This is a highly-visible position throughout the company and as such, the ideal candidate enjoys interacting with individuals and team members via multiple communication methods (face-to-face, email, phone conversations, skype video meetings), as well as creating project plans and workflow requirements.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
Create and manage comprehensive projects plans for selection, design, and rollout of new and upgraded software technology.
Communicate with executives, managers, stakeholders, administration, support and training staff regarding requirements, project progress, scheduling and priorities.
Coordinate the appropriate roles to participate on each project and provide leadership and direction for project activities.
Lead the information gathering and workgroup discussions to document new workflow and use cases in connection with the project objective.
Work with LOS administration staff or vendor to effectively communicate the workflow vision so they can accurately design it. Assist with facilitating testing and launch, and monitor feedback flow of initial workflow designs through pilot phase to achieve a solid product for rollout.
May be asked to participate in field “road shows” to assist product launch and adoption.
Create and maintain project plans that communicate tasks, milestone dates, status and resource allocation, as well as monitoring progress and implementing plan adjustments or corrections.
Use Evergreen’s PMO department established policies and procedures to manage projects. This includes using our established format for project plan documentation and usage of a collaboration system (Smartsheets) for project timeline and task tracking.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Specific Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities Required for Position:
Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years technology project management experience in a mortgage lending environment is desired.
Strong understanding through previous experience of the mortgage lending production cycle as it applies to systems. Previous experience administering an LOS is a plus.
Project Management certification a plus.
Good character, motivated, hard working.
Excellent communication skills. Neat, clean, healthy work habits.
Organized and efficient, service oriented and pays attention to details.
Must be able to track and maintain accurate logs and records.
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
Ability to work independently on projects.
Must be able to grasp issues quickly, and be able to successfully discuss specific mortgage operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally noisy environment.
Must be able to walk/ sit for at least 8 hours or more (Majority of shift is spent sitting).
Must be able to speak and hear, lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.) or occasionally more.
Requires all forms of dexterity and mobility throughout the shift.
Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, sit climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
