The role of Manager, Capital Markets is your opportunity to use your advanced finance and capital markets experience to act as a critical contributor within a highly motivated and skilled senior team. This is a sophisticated, involved position for someone who has the drive and talent to have their hands in many different areas, including debt and equity capital raises, M&A, and corporate budgeting and forecasting. Senior team is led by seasoned investment banking and capital markets experts, presenting the ideal candidate with the opportunity to take their career to the next level at a fast-growing, technology focused REIT.

The Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role would have prior capital markets experience, preferably in real estate finance. The candidate would also have extensive skills in modeling and preparing presentations for internal and external constituents.

More specifically, you should have:
A minimum of 2 years of relevant combined work experience within a finance function, preferably at an investment bank, management consulting firm or accounting firm.
Capital markets, M&A, systems and process integration experience.
One-on-one experience with senior leadership.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant focus.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling, and multi-dimension reporting tools (Oracle, Host, etc.)
Experience in the real estate industry would be a plus.

You'll also need:
Analytical thinking skills combined with the ability to find creative solutions.
Strong business acumen, with a natural ability to interpret data and clearly align it to business goals.
Excellent presentation skills and comfort presenting to senior management.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; advanced proficiency in Excel.
