Summary: The Sales Consultant develops and maintains long-term, effective relationships with physicians, nurses and other customers in the assigned territory to promote the company’s services and solutions.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four year college or university required; Two plus years of experience in sales, marketing and pharmacy preferred. One year in Health Care required.
Duties and Responsibilities

Achieves and exceeds sales objectives.
Acts as a lead with inside sales partner to develop and implement territory business plans, focusing on performance and execution impacts that properly identify and prioritize activities to accomplish goals.
Develops and maintains productive and effective relationships with key physicians, key thought leaders and other applicable customers.
Demonstrates effective selling competencies and territory management skills.
Demonstrates a deep understanding of the disease state(s), competitors, health care industry trends, etc.
Displays understanding of all incentivized drugs, indications, manufacturers, co-pay card information, chemical names, and applicable services.
Effectively networks and leverages relationships with pharmaceutical partners in the territory to drive results.
Plans, implements and attends meetings with clients or special interest groups to promote services as determined by sales leadership.
Represents the company at relevant conferences and expositions as determined by sales leadership.
Collaborates with various departments to identify opportunities and develop appropriate tactics and strategies. Provides relevant, thoughtful insight to colleagues including sales leadership, payor strategies, operations, etc.
Represents the company in a positive and supportive manner at all times.
Runs, utilizes and maintains expense reports.
Responsible for daily tracking of accounts in CRM.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Travel 25% to 75% depending on territory needs.
