Overview
We are seeking a highly motived, self-starter to join our close-knit legal team and make a positive impact for our clients. The ideal candidate will manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, settling claims and advocating for clients in court. MOST IMPORTANTLY, we are looking for an individual that fits our firm's team-first, collaborative culture. We are hiring the individual, not the resume.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to clients and assist senior attorneys
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements
- Attend depositions, mediations and hearings
- Draft legal documents
- Perform legal research
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association where practicing
- Strong knowledge of various areas of law such as personal injury law and insurance defense
- Proficiency in legal research using tools like Lexis-Nexis
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
