Human Resources Manager
The ideal candidate will be directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources function for TMSA Public Charter Schools.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
Experience in Human Resources: 5 - 8 years
Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Knowledge of the principles and practices of charter and public schools administration
Ability to present information and make recommendations effectively
Serve TMSA Charter Schools by handling day-to-day HR questions and issues
Assist in communicating school policies and procedures
Promote understanding within the school and across school operations
Recruit for open positions and perform the full life cycle of recruiting activities
Draft and update job descriptions and assist in classifying positions
Lead and organize employee on-boarding activities
Administer employee benefit program, answer employee question and support claim resolution
Responsible for new hire, termination and change of status forms with payroll
Demonstrated experience in guiding the resolution of various employee relations matters.
Demonstrated application of employee relations/grievance/disciplinary policies and procedures.
Applied working knowledge of investigative techniques related to human resources matters.
Demonstrated experience as a supervisor of HR professionals and programs, and the ability to effectively guide and develop staff.
Working knowledge of equal employment opportunity policies and practice.
Employment mediation experience Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations
