Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Performance, Oracle in Oakland, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
PARTICIPATE IN VARIOUS ASPECTS OF THE FULL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE (SDLC) FOR ORACLE EBS (E-BUSINESS SUITE) IMPLEMENTATION, INCLUDING REQUIREMENTS GATHERING, APPLICATION CONFIGURATION DESIGN, BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYSIS, SCRIPTING, CODE DEPLOYMENTS, ENHANCEMENT VALIDATION, TRIAGE OF DEFECTS AND CHANGE REQUESTS, AND ESCALATIONS OF URGENT ISSUES. EVALUATE TECHNOLOGY NEEDS TO DEVELOP CUSTOMIZED APPLICATIONS, AND DRAFT TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL DESIGN DOCUMENTATION. CREATE TEST CASES AND PERFORM FUNCTIONAL, NON-FUNCTIONAL, SYSTEM INTEGRATION (SIT), BLACK-BOX, WHITE-BOX, AND END-TO-END TESTING OF SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS. CREATE TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING SCREEN LAYOUTS, NAVIGATION FLOWS, LOGIC DIAGRAMS, DATA MODELS, PROCESS MODELS, AND PSEUDO CODE, TO BE USED FOR APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT. UTILIZE ORACLE PRODUCTS TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT SOFTWARE SERVICES TO ADDRESS BUSINESS NEEDS FOR MANUFACTURING, FINANCIAL, HUMAN RESOURCES, CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (CRM), AND SUPPLY CHAIN INDUSTRIES. DETERMINE OVERALL OPERATIONS STRATEGY BY ANALYZING A WIDE VARIETY OF BUSINESS SOLUTIONS SELECTING THE MOST RELEVANT ORACLE TOOLS/TECHNIQUES TO MEET SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS AND INTERPRETING AND REPORTING ON OUTPUTS. LEAD THE DESIGN, CONFIGURATION, TESTING, AND SUPPORT OF ORACLE EB S(E-BUSINESS SUITE) TO DEVELOP TECHNICAL OBJECTS INCLUDING FORMS AND REPORTS. BUILD, CONFIGURE, AND MONITOR INTERFACES TO INTEGRATE ORACLE EBS (E-BUSINESS SUITE) WITH 3RD PARTY SYSTEMS. DRIVE THE CREATION OF TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING SCREEN LAYOUTS, NAVIGATION FLOWS, LOGIC DIAGRAMS, DATA MODELS, PROCESS MODELS, AND PSEUDO CODE USED FOR APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT. PERFORM ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, IDENTIFY GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES, AND ESTIMATE TIME AND RESOURCES NEEDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT WORK. 80% TRAVEL REQUIRED NATIONALLY. Requirements
BACHELORS (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, SOFTWARE ENGINEERING, COMPUTER APPLICATIONS, OR A RELATED FIELD AND TWO (2) YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST ALSO HAVE TWO (2) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:
BUILDING TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS FOR NEW EMERGING BUSINESS NEEDS ON ORACLE ENTERPRISE APPLICATIONS;
OVERSEEING THE END-TO-END DELIVERY OF PROJECTS FROM THE REQUIREMENT GATHERING THROUGH SIT, USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING (UAT), CUTOVER, AND GO-LIVE;
REVIEWING CURRENT BUSINESS PROCESSES, ANALYZING FIT-GAP PROCESSES, AND PROVIDING SOLUTIONS;
USING ORACLE DEVELOPMENT TOOLS INCLUDING, FOR DEVELOPMENT WORKS REQUIRED TO MEET CLIENTS REQUIREMENTS TOAD, SQL DEVELOPER, ORACLE FORMS AND REPORTS DEVELOPER, ORACLE WORKFLOW BUILDER AND ORACLE JDEVELOPER;
DEVELOPING TECHNICAL DESIGNS FROM FUNCTIONAL DESIGNS FOR ORACLE RICE (REPORTS, INTERFACE, CONVERSIONS AND EXTENSIONS) OBJECTS; AND
DESIGNING AND CODING OAF (ORACLE APPLICATION FRAMEWORK) EXTENSIONS AND CONVERSION OBJECTS TO MEET CLIENT'S REQUIREMENTS.
80% TRAVEL REQUIRED NATIONALLY.
