Fives Cinetic Corp. is looking for a Project Manager to join our team at our U.S. Headquarters in Farmington Hills, MI or our Filling/Sealing Division in Novi, MI. Our Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from inception through delivery and guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain Fives Cinetic Project Management standards and guidelines
Assure that the customer’s original specifications are met
Lead the project change effort. Be sure that the customer expectations are understood and met
Report on the schedule and budget compliance to the organization
Maintain effective open issues list and lead the resolution of these issues
Maintain open and professional lines of communication with our customers
Support the sales department in resolution of contract change financial issues.
Lead projects from inspection through the final acceptance and retention of payment.
Establish project scheduling activities
Participate in division level process and policy formation and maintenance
Supervision of all Project Managers.
Supervision of all project schedules

Required Skills

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong commercial management skills – must have a track record of successful financial management of projects including change management, cost tracking, receivables etc.
Technical experience of tooling / material handling / robotics, preferably with an engineering background
Technical Degree or Business Degree
PMP certification preferred but not essential
Strong communication and organization skills
Proficient at Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Desirable experience / knowledge:
Industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, DACS)
Tooling Design
Materials Handling Systems
Vision Systems
Fastening Systems
Test Systems (especially engine (hot / cold) + transmission)
Fluid Fill / Dispense Systems
In-process gauging
Required Experience

Candidates Must Demonstrate The Following To Be Considered:
Minimum of (3) years’ experience in project management
Minimum of (2) years experience in automotive assembly and / or test systems
Overall eight (5) years’ experience in automation / automotive / aerospace industries
Overall accountability for design / build / install projects – able to manage multiple projects
Key customer contact. You will be the leader of your project and team and supported accordingly
Strong Leadership skills including leading technical teams
Responsible for project financial results including performance to budget, cash flow, change management
Capable of negotiating with all project stakeholders – customers, contractors, suppliers
Accountable for on-time delivery. Must have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
