The Baton Rouge Manufacturing Procurement Associate has overall responsibility to generate value, drive efficiency and expand market advantage via end-to-end category management (from strategy to implementation), while ensuring operational integrity at our manufacturing sites. This role is responsible for developing key craft labor contracts for US Manufacturing Sites, managing supplier relationships to maximize contractor value delivery, supporting and implementing regional manufacturing initiatives, in addition to dedicated strategy coordination and execution at our Baton Rouge Chemicals and Refinery plants.

Job Role Responsibilities

Competitively develop and maintain a portfolio of Craft Labor agreements
Ensure process execution and full compliance with ExxonMobil controls culture
Support Category Specialist in development and implementation of category specific strategy and commercial guidance
Prepare procurement plans, bid packages, sealed bids, reverse auctions
Provide portfolio specific information to Category Specialist and other network Procurement Associates
Execute contract administration duties, stewarding tactical Client relationship for key portfolio activities
Supplier relationship management within portfolio, including monitoring, evaluating and reporting suppliers conformance with contract key performance indicators
Drive business value and agreement rationalization opportunities within portfolio
Ensure transactional efficiency of agreements across multiple systems and resource planning platforms (i.e. SAP, Ariba, CDMS)
Active contribution in site networks and use of site specific information
Job Requirements

BS, MBA, MS in Engineering, Supply Chain, or other applicable business degrees
Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
A minimum of 5 years of contracting and negotiations experience is required
A minimum of 5 years of Refining or Chemicals procurement experience is preferred
Preferred Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Craft Labor expertise
Refinery or Chemical plant experience
Knowledge of purchase to pay process including SAP, Ariba, Contractor Data Management System
Procurement / commercial functional expertise
Experience in the Downstream Industry
Leadership skills
Communication skills
Understanding of total system cost concept
Project planning / execution skills
