Operations Manager, Admixtures - Beachwood, Ohio (1804622)

Where the Chemistry Happens…
The Operations Manager directs all functions of operations at the Admixture Systems US and Canadian manufacturing sites (comprised of 12 Admixture Systems sites and 3 Distribution Center sites) to maintain the supply of our products at a competitive cost and a high level of quality and service to our customers. This position is responsible for Production, Maintenance, Site Logistics, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and EHS encompassing approximately 55 individuals.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Leveraging your academic professional background, you will effectively engage with key customers and senior level management to deliver the budgeted production outputs.

Your extensive production environment experience coupled with expertise in leading people will serve you well as you drive operational excellence by implementing EHS and Quality standards, continuous improvement methods and introducing best practices to optimize production output and cost.

You will create a safety mindset through the introduction of best practices, training and supporting the team to achieve the zero-accident target and full Responsible Care/EHS compliance.

You will provide leadership to the sites including the creation and implementation of the sites’ visions, operating budgets, capital spending and expenses, strategies, and tactical plans in alignment with the business strategies, which will continuously improve the functioning of the operations.
