Inside Sales Representative

Our innovative team is rapidly expanding. UWorld is currently searching for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative (ISR) who will be responsible for generating sales in the USMLE and Board product lines. The ISR will work with the Business Development Manager in growing the our Medical Products business through cold calling and email initiatives. The ideal candidate will make introductions and set appointments for webinars, follow up with existing B2C and B2B leads to upsell individual and institutional purchases, and work to build a system of new prospects.

Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Business or relevant field preferred.

Minimum Experience Required:
3-5 years experience as an inside sales representative preferred.
Proven experience as an inside sales representative or similar sales role required.
Previous sales experience in the nursing education field or SaaS industry preferred, but not required
Proven ability to convert prospects and achieve sales quotas

Required Skills:
Proficient in MS Office/Working knowledge of IT and marketing software (e.g. CRM, SalesForce etc)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
Aptitude for problem solving and the ability to determine solutions for customers using a consultative sales approach
Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor. Outstanding organizational abilities with adaptive and collaborative mindset
Persuasive and goal-oriented
Job Duties: (Including but not limited to)

New Account Development

Research accounts, identify key players, and cultivate new sales opportunities for UWorld products and services.
Prospect and build a sales pipeline for the Outside Sales Reps via multiple mediums (email, phone, trade show leads, and inbound website leads).
Source new sales opportunities through Cold-calling institutional prospects from new and existing leads
Prospect for new business through 70+ outbound calls per day
Work in collaboration with Customer Care team to process quotes and close sale
Maintain a high level of attention to detail managing all respective sales activities (notes, follow-ups, emails, call logs).
Meet monthly and quarterly goals set on the number of Appts, Emails, Visits and Lead Generation, with incentives based on the number of appointments set for outside sales representatives and new sales revenue.
Account Maintenance

Maintain active communication and account management of established key relationships.
Work in coordination with sales and marketing team to communicate and document market insight, feedback and customer takeaways
Implements an account management plan that optimizes revenue growth and inspires customer loyalty
Serve as the primary contact and liaison in servicing institutional partnerships
Conduct ongoing customer needs, analysis, and research of customer requirements
Team Collaboration

Develop cohesion between inside sales support and outside sales representatives sharing market insight gathered during appointment setting.
Participate in team meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and other assigned action items.
Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
