Concordia University seeks applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor of Microbiology. The Department of Natural Sciences and Geography has an open position for an adjunct to teach a science course required for biology majors, for the Spring 2020 semester.
Responsibilities include teaching a required course for biology majors, BIO 3215 Microbiology, which is a study of microorganisms; the structure and function of nucleic acids; DNA replication, transcription, and translation; regulation of gene expression; recombinant DNA tehcnology; applications of current molecular techniques in genomics, forensics, medicine and ecology. Laboratory included.
Candidates must either have a Masters or Doctoral degree in Biology or associated field ABD acceptable.
