We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Director of Site Operations within our Toxicology Business Unit (part of Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Division) located at Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of Kansas City eScreen operational service delivery. Individual is operations, quality, and productivity focused. The position works closely with other leaders to design, control and ensure efficient operational processes across the business. The Senior Directors of Site Operations ensures operations are properly aligned for success to meet needs of the existing business and effectively positioned for growth. It is expected that individual is familiar with operational excellence management methodology and ability to manage both the strategy and day-to-day operations. Individual is also familiar with supply chain management, and techniques for Business Continuity Planning. Champion projects and programs as they deliver change to the organization at an operation level to ensure change is controlled, aligned with corporate strategy and delivered within the time, cost and quality parameters set out in the business case. Person works collaboratively with key customers, vendors, and within Abbott Toxicology to represent and improve the operations of Abbott eScreen. Provides General Management leadership to the Kansas City office, working closely with remote offices.

Extremely knowledgeable in operations management processes and systems
Ability to work effectively with all areas of the company: Information Technology, Account Management, Clinic Solutions, Finance, Quality, Human Resources, and other groups within Abbott Toxicology
Drives continuous improvement and strategy for development and maintenance of methods and enabling systems (including governance, organizational structures, processes and tools) that accurately demonstrate the degree to which operational goals, objectives and metrics are being met.
Identifies and measures all key performance indicators for Service and Quality of Operations
Drives innovation for process improvement and cost reduction of operations
Knowledgeable in systems development lifecycle, and willing to shape methods for what works best to get the job done
Communicates across the organization to ensure everyone understands the priorities of the Operations group
Supports and Develops Business Continuity Planning with direct teams and with broader Abbott Toxicology
Works effectively with Laboratory personnel to integrate eScreen and Lab functions
Adheres to Quality Systems expectations and standards
Represents Operations to key customers, TPA/Partners, and vendors
Ability to take new operational opportunities and define cost effective solutions to service delivery
Ensures adherence to compliance guidelines
Works effectively with MRO service provider (Synergy)
Coordinates effectively with Off-Shore support team (Manila) in defining services, and quality of off shore operations
Established budgets and forecasts of operations, works closely with Finance in cost modeling

BS/BA degree
Demonstrated track record and leadership experience in Operations, Technology and/or Business Development roles

Degree in a Business Administration, Operational Engineering affiliated curriculum; with MBA highly desirable, or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of system development, drug testing industry and eScreen’s systems
Proven operations and process knowledge
Proven proficiency with project management methodologies and techniques. PMP preferred.
Six Sigma or Lean Project/Program Management certification
Off-Shore collaboration
Strong office skills: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Outstanding Interpersonal and communications skills
Positive and helpful attitude
Initiative and attention to detail
