TITLE: Maintenance Technician

FLSA: Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, general equipment, and grounds. Working under close supervision assists in monitoring building system operations, equipment, and overall performance.

Facilities Management

Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance as directed on varying equipment.

Reviews assigned work orders for completeness.

Complies with all company directives related to building operations, work safety, and operational management.

Completes maintenance and repair records as required.

Estimates time and materials needed to complete repairs.

Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.

Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems.

Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulb

Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.

Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed

Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Compliance to company standards, systems, procedures, and policies

Abides by company policies and procedures as established in the Employee Handbook.

Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Must be reliable and punctual in reporting to work as scheduled; enforces company time and attendance policy.

May not sign contracts on behalf of the company.

May only make expenditures from vendors for authorized items. Unauthorized vendors, unauthorized products, and quantities exceeding normal business volumes must be approved by the Director of Fuel.

High school diploma or GED, additional training at a trade-related school preferred.
Must maintain a current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license with an insurable driving record

Able to carry or lift 50 lbs. or more, climb ladders, work outside, as well as general physical requirements to include but not limited to stooping, standing, and or walking for prolonged periods.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic use of the Microsoft Office suite as well as Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence.
Must have valid driver’s license and be able to go between stores without difficulty
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, on-call and holidays.
