The Physician Recruitment Manager, Strategic Sourcing Division manages physician recruitment sourcing efforts and activities of the organization for a specified group of specialties.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Works closely with VP of Strategic Sourcing to maintain relationship with Division Physician Recruitment VPs and applicable Corporate Service Line leaders.
Develops and implements programs, plans, policies, and procedures for sourcing, screening, and selection of candidates within given specialties.
Sources and screens candidates for open positions in applicable specialties.
Sources candidates that can be placed into hospitals in HCA Divisions and markets throughout the country.
Serves as communication liaison with Division Recruitment Teams, PSG Management, Physician Recruitment leadership, candidates/physicians, and corporate service line leaders
Plans and directs activities of staff in carrying out such functions as developing sources of qualified applicants, screening applicants, scheduling and conducting interviews, conducting preliminary screenings, and evaluating applicant qualifications.
Interfaces with Division Recruitment Teams to determine physician sourcing needs.
Determines internet online recruiting strategies for attracting and recruiting candidates.
Manages HCA’s presence at selected specialty recruiting events within given specialties and maximizes our results from such events.
Manages sourcing efforts through candidate tracking system (SalesForce) and monitors data integrity.
Provides recommendations for operational changes and ensures implementation and adherence.
Maintains data on recruitment and sourcing activities, applicant flow, and sourcing results to maintain accurate and comprehensive files such as candidate records, internal and external reports and correspondence.
Displays consistent behavior that enhances the public image of the organization as evidenced by professionalism in interactions with peers, subordinates, customers, vendors, and others.
Manages select physician recruitment personnel in the department
Is responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Represents the company at association meetings and physician training programs.
Develops recruiting contacts with residency and fellowship programs, vendors, etc.
Education - A Bachelors degree is required. Graduate degree is preferred.
Experience - Five years of physician recruitment and management experience.
