Manage day-to-day
business in the company’s stores. Organize and plan schedules of managers to
provide support for store employees. Provide guidance in managing issues with
employees at store level: 10%. Oversee sales, profitability, expense control,
inventory control, purchasing and merchandising, regulatory compliance, and
special projects as assigned: 5%. Provide support for all aspects of store
operations and manage duties and responsibilities of store managers as
necessary through regular visits to stores: 5%. Ensure the highest quality
guest service is delivered and follows Maison Kayser’s steps of service
standards as well as handling any escalated guest complaints: 20%. Assist in
interviewing, selecting, training, developing, and counselling managers in a
manner that builds and sustains a high performing team and minimizes
turnover. Build capable, confident management teams and develop them to
manage great stores. Handle disciplinary action, transfers, promotions, rate
increases and overall annual review process for all Managers in an assigned
area: 5%. Build and sustain a positive work environment of outstanding
teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale: 20%. Work with managers to
oversee performance of all managers and ensure every employee of the store
has individual development plans. Ensure the management team continually focuses
on fulfilling the requirements of Excellent Service: 7%. Conduct operational
review and financial audits to manage store performance to fulfill
expectation on quality of Food, Bread, Pastry, and Coffee. Regularly review
purchasing process to manage waste and plan for forecasted sales and changing
volume of sales: 5%. Constantly monitor and review products for quality and
taking appropriate measures to address any issues and making necessary
improvements: 10%. Serve as a liaison between corporate office, commissary,
and stores to communicate implementation and changes effectively: 3%.
Responsible for working with New Stores Openings (NSO) team to handle and
manage New Stores Openings and following guidelines to meet deadlines.
Organize and coordinate plans for training and hiring for all new employees.
Effectively communicate all relevant information to Store Managers so that it
is understood and implemented correctly. Work with the management teams to be
passionate and knowledgeable about the quality and freshness of our food,
bread, pastry, and coffee: 5%. Coordinate and effectively communicate any
company wide plans for change to all managers. Work with all Maison Kayser
employees to build strategic sales growth plan and set targets for each
store. Hold regular meetings with the Operations team and GMs to share best
practices and review performance of Store Managers. Assist and train store
managers to intelligently forecast and schedule labor: 2%. Ensure all units
are in compliance with all local, regional and national laws and regulatory
agencies: 2%. Develop a system to inspect stores regularly to ensure
operational standards and maintenance needs are met: 1%. Hours: 40hrs/wk. 9
am to 5 pm.

1 year of experience
in a management role. 1 year of experience in multi-unit management with
minimum annual sales volume of $5 million per unit. 1 year of experience in a
full-service restaurant and/or hospitality industry. 1 year of experience
with expanding organizations (opening at least 2 new stores/locations per
year). 1 year of experience facilitating progressive organizational
development within a growing organization. 1 year of experience mentoring and
coaching a team with diverse levels of expertise. 1 year of experience
utilizing MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. 1 year of experience analyzing
financial reports. 1 year of experience in a retail environment. 1 year of
experience with the system development, including Labor Force Matrix, Payroll
system, and POS systems. 1 year of experience in a customer service

SALARY: $76,710 to $100,000 per year
