Accountemps has an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk opportunity that offers a stimulating work environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. Matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are integral functions for this position. Your responsibilities in this role

  • Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
  • Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
  • Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
  • Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Provide customer service to internal business partners
  • Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
  • Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
  • Accomplish full-cycle A/P
  • Perform special projects as assigned
  • Competent with spreadsheets and databases
  • Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
  • Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
  • Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable
  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
