The successful candidate will be a part of the team that is responsible for Enterprise Business Intelligence. This position requires that the candidate understands, uses and applies technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques and provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity. The candidate will also regularly interact with the customers to understand, document and communicate their needs, perform requirements analysis, develop and deliver reports and dashboards as per the requirements and contribute to the development and delivery of user training and documentation. The candidate will work under the general direction of the manager or the principal Systems Analyst and will independently determine and develop approach to solutions. The candidate will follow established procedures and contribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects and keep up-to-date with the technology shifts through training. This position requires a wide range of technical development, design, and multitasking skills. The ability to communicate effectively with members of the Products, Services, and Management teams are key components for success in this role.

Required Skills and Education
Experience developing on-demand and scheduled reports for business analysis or management decisions using MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Write parameterized queries for generating tabular reports and sub reports using global variables, expressions, and functions
Experience with list reports, dashboards, scorecards, Matrix and Tablix reports, reports/dashboards with drill down capabilities
Expertise in Power BI Service and Power BI Desktop to pull data from various sources
Expertise developing, deploying and enhancing data cubes and multi-dimensional dashboards
Proficient in T-SQL for developing complex Stored Procedures, Triggers, Tables, user defined functions, relational database models and data integrity, and SQL joins, analysing and improving query performance using T-SQL.
Experience writing, analysing and improving MDX and DAX queries
Strong expertise in Tabular and multi-dimensional data modelling using Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT/Visual Studio)
Expertise in ETL between Homogenous and Heterogeneous Systems
Expertise with ETL workflow design using SQL Server Data Transformation Services (DTS) and/or MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Experience in developing MS SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Cubes, Cube partitioning and incremental synchronization for SSAS cubes and deploying and Processing SSAS objects
Experienced in logical and physical database design & development, data conversion, database normalization and data modelling using tools such as ERwin and/or SQL Server Enterprise manager.
Experience in creating jobs, SQL Mail Agent, Alerts and schedule DTS/SSIS Packages
Experience in DTS Migration and Metadata Management: Migrating DTS packages to SSIS, Package Migration Wizard, and Storage Management.
Performs comprehensive developer level testing prior to release for additional internal and external testing
Preferred Skills and Education
Experience in database creation, maintenance, monitoring, backups and recoveries.
MS SQL Server 2012/2014/2016 suite of products like SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
Experience designing, maintaining & tuning MS SQL Server and strong knowledge of SDLC principles.
Strong experience with migrating reports/dashboards between different BI applications and different BI development environments
Creating, updating and removing data source connections
Experience in implementing data level and application level security using SharePoint services
Experience in using version control apps such as Visual Source Safe (VSS), Subversion (SVN) or Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Strong experience in integrating MS BI suite with SharePoint services such as Excel PowerPivot services for SharePoint, SharePoint security etc.
