Job Description

The Product Manager will be responsible for setting a product vision and strategy.


Communicates with carrier partners on product questions, changes, rates and coordinates communication on changes to internal team members

Maintains a working spreadsheet on client renewal proposals as well as new business proposals in order to know the status of each Request for Proposal (RFP) that is submitted by the Account Manager or National Account Executive Sales contact

Responds to the status of any proposal or RFP to the EVP and CEO by using the proposal tracker spreadsheet

Development of rate structures for both renewal and new business proposals

Coordinates review of rate structure with internal sales team, account managers and outside accountants

Implements rate structure in BIC systems for enrollment and billing processes

Oversees billing and accounts receivable processes with a team of two billing specialists reporting to him/her

Obtains in-depth knowledge of invoice process, from member enrollment to invoice to collection

Oversees reconciliation of client data with BIC system data

Manages one-of and exceptions matters through entire billing and collection cycle

Serves as a liaison and problem solver between IT, Account Managers and Billing

Data manipulation, report running and enrollment trend reporting. Ability to work with IT to develop parameters and run the reports as needed

Works closely with the Director of Client Services for quarterly compensation for Account Managers

Runs monthly commission reports for the NAE Sales team members and the BDR’s

Analyzes new plan rate structures as new rate structures are considered

Creates reports for EVP and CEO with dashboard data, plan info, enrollment info and custom requests

Creates rates with new carrier partners and develops proposed commissions for BIC with EVP and CEO

Multitasker with above activity and ability to prioritize based on revenue impact to organizations

Leadership for driving product and partnership financial/rate discussions with the Strategic Alliance Manager and new partnership decision makers


Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word/etc.)

Ability to understand billing systems

Ability to multitask, problem solve and drive activity to closure

Leadership for projects, initiatives and troubleshooting and bringing outstanding items to close

Very strong communication skills with communications to Sales, Account Management, Leadership

Ability to build external partnerships

Strong analytical mind

Visionary, ability to think outside of the box


Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
