Job Description

The Office/Data Entry Assistant will provide administrative support to the Home Visiting Program Manager and to Home Visiting Program staff. The Assistant also works closely with the program manager, the staff, internal and external partners to ensure an ongoing coordinated and collaborative data collection and data management system. Responsible for data entry, data quality assurance, and data management as it relates to the program and the department. The Office/Data Entry Assistant provides administrative support to Home Visiting Program. This position works under the direction of the Maternal and Child Health Program Manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Works closely with program manager and staff to ensure integrated approaches to program data management (collection, management, and reporting).
Schedules and conducts ongoing data collection intake and follow-up with potential and enrolled program participants.
Responsible for the completion of data entry into program data management systems. Ensures data integrity.
Responsible for responding to data anomalies identified and responding accordingly through appropriate corrective actions.
Serves as the administrative support to Program Staff and Program Manager.
Supports the organization as needed.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABLITIES:
Familiarity of the cultural, social, and economic backgrounds of various ethnic populations.
Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Internet, WinZip, Adobe Acrobat and other data management systems. Must be familiar and comfortable performing data entry and computer functions.
Basic knowledge and understanding of clinical health terms.
Must be detail oriented.
Possess the aptitude for research/data integrity and understand IT terms.
Ability to provide written and oral reports and evaluations concerning data collection and data management.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
Associate Degree in Office Management, Data Management. Preferred Bachelor Degree in Business, Data Management, Public Health Research/Data Evaluation or related field. One year experience preferred.
Specialized experience; preferably with research, data management, and evaluation.
Possess a valid and unrestricted Arizona driver’s license (within 30 days of hire if applicant is from out-of-state) with no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions in the last five years. No more than two at-fault accidents in the last three years. Must maintain a valid AZ driver license during employment. Must be insurable by NATIVE HEALTH’s liability auto policy.
Must pass a criminal background check with a Class I Fingerprint Clearance Card within the initial ninety (90) calendar days of employment.
Must pass a substance abuse testing upon employment and submit to a random testing during the course of employment.
Must have an updated Immunization Record.
Must have a current (within 12 months) Tuberculosis (TB) skin report upon employment and provide and update annually.
Must obtain a CPR Card within ninety (90) days calendar days of employment and maintain a valid CPR card during employment.
