Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a Mortgage Banker Assistant to join our team! The Mortgage Banker Assistant is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the loan process from application to close.
What you’ll be doing
- Scrubbing all loan submissions, submitting qualify files, implementing and managing our tracking system throughout the loan process.
- Structuring files to include reading AUS findings and calculating payments, while adjusting as needed and communicating with Operations in a manner that allows the Sales team to focus on external activities and keep the files moving forward efficiently.
- Managing weekly pipeline calls with the operations support team.
- Handling the post-closing follow-up, including the closing gift, 30-day connection, CRM installments, and any past client events.
- Building new strategies into the system, that allow the entire team to improve and be better.
- Managing expense reports monthly, i.e. documenting and submitting expenses and tracking efficiencies around monthly spend.
- Building successful working relationships with all operations partners.
- Finding solutions internally, prior to engaging leadership.
What you'll bring
- A thorough understanding of the loan process from start to finish with total expertise; Loan Processing & Mortgage experience required
- Ability to identify issues, inefficiencies, and potential problems; then addressing and solving them accordingly prior to them becoming an issue.
- A strong sense of self-initiative and drive
- Ability to manage concurrent tasks and responsibilities
- Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Total Expert, BYTE, Candid, Simple Nexus, Bomb-Bomb, Canva and all other pertinent systems
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
