WHAT YOU’LL DO:
In collaboration with TMH leaders, the Colleague Relations Specialist:

Supports the Exec Dir/HR Services in a highly diverse range of issues (e.g., organizational development and improvement initiatives, workforce training and development, comprehensive human resources policies and programs promotion, business-related initiatives, and special projects).

Assists with overseeing organization-wide HR procedures administration, and colleague relations related protocols and programs.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) counseling, advising, and training managers and staff members on Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH) policies and procedures compliance; conducting internal investigations; Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)/Florida Commission on Human Relations (FCHR) investigations and reporting; grievance processing; unemployment compensation administration; processing military and educational leaves of absence, family and medical leave (FML), and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) accommodation requests; enhancing the development of colleague/organization relationships; and managing efforts to enhance the work environment and morale of TMH staff members.
- Responsible for collecting and analyzing data related to organizational development and colleague relations special projects.

Counsels, advises, and collaborates with managers and employees to guide the performance management process and outcomes for employees.

Assists with colleague engagement activities (as needed).

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY:
Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field. HR may accept directly related professional experience for the required post-secondary education on a 1-year: 1-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

One (1) year of relevant, job-related work experience

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) credential from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and/or Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Knowledge of human resources.

Knowledge of colleague relations.

Knowledge of organizational development.

Knowledge of personal computer applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and human resources information systems.

General understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

General understanding of and HR management principles and practices

Excellent communication and presentation skills sufficient to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) with superiors and other individuals and interact effectively with management officials, staff members, and regulatory agencies' representatives

Ability to learn, administer, and interpret TMH policies, procedures, and operations.
