As a Banking Customer Service Rep, you will enjoy an upbeat, fun and social environment; all while working hard when engaging on inbound phone calls and online with our valued Discover Financial members. This high achieving team is exclusively responsible for handling any and every need, for all of our DiscoverBank.com members and the bank member inquiry types vary greatly. You will be responsible for assessing and handling a wide range of Discover customers banking needs. Discover Banking members include multiple account types (CDs, online checking, money market, etc.). This role responds to multiple customer inquiries in a timely manner, maintains records of problems and inquiries handled, ensures adherence to required Banking Regulations, and suggests means of improving service based upon customer inquiries and complaints. You will also promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
