Stay Sojo is searching for a Laundry Attendant in the Atlanta Market! The Laundry Attendant will be expected to support the functions of our Furnished Apartments. Responsible for the complete upkeep and smooth functioning of the laundry department. The laundry attendant should possess knowledge of all equipment and how it operates. The position also works closely with Operations Associate to ensure proper inventory levels are supplied to the floors in a timely and efficient manner. To be successful as a laundry attendant, you should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Laundry attendants use various techniques to clean kitchen and bedding items and other textiles and to support the operations of the facilities in which they work.
Overview of the role
As a Laundry Attendant, you will be expected to wash, dry, and fold apartment linens. You will be also responsible for sorting the laundry by color shades and materials. You should have exceptional knowledge of using dry cleaning equipment and various laundry techniques. (Ironing, folding, steaming, etc.). We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills with the ability to pay close attention to detail. Someone who is able to work independently as and when required. Your ultimate goal is to provide excellent laundry service to the customers.

What you have
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience as a laundry attendant, or a similar position in the Hospitality industry
Ability to work for long hours as well as work on the weekends if required
Experience and knowledge in using laundry equipment and maintaining the equipment
Quick decision making skills
Great communication skills, both verbal and written
Good customer service skills
Ability to calculate effectively using basic arithmetic skills
Time management skills
What you’ll do
Wash, clean, dry, and fold sheets, bedding, comforters, pillow cases, mattress pads, and other household items
Sort the laundry items according to material and color
Wrap and pack the laundry items for pickup or delivery for housekeeping
Update the laundry list and record it on a daily basis
Maintain cleanliness in the laundry room
Assist fellow laundry attendants in loading and unloading laundry washers and dryers
Maintain inventory level which includes detergents, bleaches, detergents cakes, and others. Keep updated on regular basis
Provide various other laundry services is required
Clean and prepare houseware small wares (coffee pots, toasters, pots, pans, etc.)
Other necessary duties as reasonably assigned
