University of Providence is calling a Senior Project Manager - PSJH / University of Providence Clinical & Health Programs to our location in Renton WA. This position can also be located in Orange County CA, Great Falls, MT or Portland, OR.
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager (SPM), Strategy & Operations to facilitate strategic, business and operational planning for health professions programs offered by University of Providence (UP) and delivered across Providence St Joseph Health (PSJH). The SPM reports to the VP, Education Programs & Partnerships, PSJH. The SPM leads and manages complex programmatic functions related to the creation, development and execution of academic and clinical programs that advance PSJH’s workforce strategy. The SPM will consistently demonstrate strong business acumen, critical thinking capabilities, exceptional communication skills, professionalism, emotional intelligence, teamwork, autonomy, and initiative.
The incumbent will perform all duties in a manner that promotes the University of Providence's (UP) mission, values, and philosophy. In all aspects, this position serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization.
In this position, you will have the following responsibilities:
Pursue local and regional partnerships to accelerate implementation and expansion of key UP School of Health Professions programs, including identification and implementation of clinical sites for UP programs at PSJH and partner ministries / facilities. Example of programs include Medical Assistant, Medical Technologist, BSN, Nurse Practitioner, Surgical Technologist, and other programs agreed upon to address PSJH’s workforce needs.
Create and execute project, operational and business plans to grow and replicate key UP programs across PSJH, in deep partnership with academic, operations and clinical leaders across UP and PSJH.
Recommend opportunities for new UP programs across PSJH, reflecting sound business and workforce assumptions and ROI prospects.
Act as a PSJH liaison between PSJH clinical sites / locations and University of Providence academic leaders.
Project manage operational work including pro forma analysis, new program material creation, program planning and implementation, communications, team meetings, etc.
Cultivate strategic partnerships with external organizations that can complement UP/PSJH.
Evaluate project plan progress and outcomes and make performance improvement recommendations accordingly.
Plan and / or facilitate large-scale organizational meetings, symposiums, events, and/or summits.
Lead negotiation of contracts and site agreements, planning for local clinical oversight and supervision agreements (includes partnership and alignment with external strategic partners where appropriate).
Create, vet, and drive priority project plans.
Report on performance and outcomes of plans and projects.
Partner with communications colleagues to communicate widely regarding project/program progress, opportunities and outcomes, both within UP and across PSJH.
Proactively identify priorities, recommend solutions, identify risks, and produce reports and presentations accordingly.
Develop/recommend process improvements to support increased efficiencies and performance improvement for priority projects.
Develop and maintain effective and efficient processes for monitoring and tracking projects.

Required qualifications for this position include:
5-8 years of closely related consulting, project management, strategy execution, or program management work.
Demonstrated experience in business, strategy, marketing and communications.
Experience in organizing, facilitating, and leading projects and/or project planning.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, focus on details, and multi-tasking ability, even in a fast-paced and often high pressure environment. Ability to prioritize workloads.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to deal with ambiguity while driving for results. Ability to navigate a complex, matrixed organization.
Demonstrated independence, requiring minimal supervision to accomplish assigned task or projects and manage time effectively.
Strong consulting, project and/or Senior Project management skills. Experience translating complex internal Senior Projects into concise communications via email, reports, and graphics.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Relevant master’s degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, MPA, MS, etc.)
Proven experience serving as a liaison between organization.
Strong comprehension of health and education industry best practices.
