We are seeking a creative and organized Social Media and Events Coordinator to manage Extend Fertility’s social media presence and coordinate events. This role involves developing and implementing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and planning and executing events that support our mission and connect with our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Manage social media pages and profiles on behalf of Extend Fertility.
- Develop, implement, manage, and maintain a social media strategy and social media content calendar.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (graphics, images, video, and written).
- Set appropriate goals and encourage audience engagement for various post types.
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with social media interactions and inquiries.
- Track and monitor competitive and like social media accounts, research social media market trends, related emerging topics and timely events for value-add content development and implementation.
- Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to assess performance and guide strategy.
- Monitor topical content and user engagement and report to marketing for SEO and content optimizations.
- Stay updated on social media trends and best practices on all platforms adhering to policies and terms, as well as industry specific trends particularly in the fertility and healthcare space.
Event Coordination:
- Plan, organize, and execute fertility-related events, including webinars, workshops, and community outreach programs.
- Coordinate with vendors, speakers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth event operations.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, registration, marketing, and post-event follow-up.
- Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and promotional materials.
Content Creation and Management:
- Write and edit compelling content for social media posts, newsletters, and event promotions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with broader campaign goals and messaging.
- Create visual content using design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
Community Engagement:
- Build and nurture relationships with community partners, influencers, and key stakeholders.
- Engage with online communities and forums to expand our reach and support our audience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in social media management, event coordination, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Proven experience in organizing and executing successful events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Metricool) and analytics platforms and tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager).
- Ability to create engaging content and visuals.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in or background in fertility and reproductive health is highly desirable.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in social media management or event planning.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
- Experience with CRM systems and data management.
- Fertility or women’s healthcare experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
