Licensed Social Worker (LSW) / Master Social Worker (MSW) / Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (LAMFT)

As a LSW/MSW/LAMFT, you advocate for individuals of all ages. You will work with members in every stage in life, and sometimes those with dire economic backgrounds, helping to ease them through transitions, hardships, and mentally-tough times. You will be the person who assists them in finding the proper resources to get the care or supplements they need to sustain a certain quality of life and you may be the link between people and care-givers in the health and psychology professions. As a social worker, you'll find reward, take risks, and offer viable options for those who may not be capable—or willing—to help themselves.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify those in need
  • Help people of all life stages cope with and solve everyday problems
  • Advocate for and develop plans to improve the member’s well-being
  • Research and refer members to community resources
  • Work with individuals, families, or groups
  • Respond to members in crisis situations
  • Work with a variety of public and private organizations

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or sociology
  • Master’s degree in social work, sociology or psychology.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) / Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)

As a LCSW/LCPC/LMFT, you advocate for individuals of all ages. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Observe member behavior, assess needs, and develop treatment strategies.
  • Diagnose psychological, behavioral and emotional disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Consult with doctors, therapists and medical professionals.
  • Administer social service programs.
  • Instruct members' families during treatment.

Education and Qualifications

Salary: $30.00 to $40.00 /hour
