We are looking for a responsible experienced logistics professional to help coordinate the daily activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time constraints. The role is a complex one. The operations agent will be responsible for interacting with customers on their shipping needs, facilitating the shipment, communicating and resolving issues and serving as a liaison between the customer, warehouse and third party logistics providers.

We are looking for a full-time Truck Dispatch Agent to fill a position within our Truck Dispatch department. This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate between $15 and $16 depending on experience.

Major Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Dispatching asset based drivers / trucks or 3rd party carriers to ensure customer orders are booked.
  • Scheduling pickup / delivery appt. for customer orders.
  • Routing CFI-LAX drivers, securing intrastate & interstate loads for CFI owner operators.
  • Discussing delivery services with customers to meet their shipping needs in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work efficiently with the team at all times.
  • Responsible to ensure the most efficient movement & cost effective service.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT and safety regulations is meet at all times.
  • Resolves transportation problems with urgency and professionalism.
  • Works hard, and is looking to grow with a solid company who is growing rapidly in the transportation perishable industry.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma is required
  • 1 - 2 year experience in entry level transportation customer service is preferred
