ASSIGNED SHIFT: Shift is normally an 8 hours shift 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. but could be more or less and hours could be changed depending on the needs of The Glen. (Assignment may vary)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Community Relations, the Life Plan Coordinator is responsible for, planning and providing tours, sales functions related to move-in, maintaining marketing database and maintaining marketing materials for The Glen Retirement System communities.
Provide tours to prospective residents and family members through multiple levels of care.
Handle digital, phone and other inquiries concerning levels of care throughout The Glen Retirement System.
Performs sales functions for the retirement facility, finding and following up on leads, interviewing potential residents, providing information and selling vacant units.
Assist facility personnel with the coordination of the admission process for independent living and assisted living; facilitates the transition of future residents to (residential) units.
Responsible for printing marketing material and preparing packets for tours.
Inputs/maintains data entry in leads software for prospective/new residents.
Responsible for tracking inquiries and census throughout the system and keeping an updated waiting list in real time.
Attend trade shows and sales seminars representing The Glen Retirement System as necessary.
Exhibits strong commitment to recognize the care needs of the prospective residents.
Represents The Glen in a professional, dignified and courteous manner.
Maintains a comprehensive working knowledge of all aspects of renting units and leasing documents in accordance with The Glen Retirement System and fair housing guidelines.
Understands the culture, care options and floor plans at The Glen Retirement System.
Daily communication and collaboration with Director of Marketing and Community Relations, facility directors and others.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS: Assist Marketing & Community Relations Director with marketing/sales assignments and special events as requested.
Other related projects, duties and responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary.
Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, sales or related field
Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, senior housing preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, potential residents, residents and their families
General administrative and clerical experience
General computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, Lead generation software, Adobe Suite
Flexible, versatile and adapts easily to change
Health care/retirement community experience a plus
Must be able to fulfill job requirements in a high-energy, high-traffic area.
Significant stooping, bending, standing, walking
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 90 pounds.
