The VP, Integrated Operations lead is instrumental in elevating the PM’s technical expertise in new process and workflows, while also helping our agency take on more complex workstreams. Digital and omnichannel is at the core and detailed business management is the connective tissue that holds it all together—partnering with business directors and creators to ensure transparency, accountability, and seamless integration. This person will be deeply embedded with their brand teams and have an excellent understanding of their brand content\matrices, goals, KPIs, and strategies and must be able to create\adapt workflow processes to deliver executional excellence efficiently. This person will be responsible for re-imagining how to get the work done and must think beyond the day-to-day operations. This candidate should bring a confident point of view to every assignment, be multi-faceted, and believe in the work and our mission. They must be energized by change and change management.
This leader will:

Set delivery standards for their team squads

Establish efficient workflows for every assignment

Be an expert on delivery model approaches both internal and external

Be an expert in understanding brand needs, future deliverables, and brand content matrices

Oversee executional excellence of creator squad deliverables and ensures delivery on time and on budget

Mentor project managers to be critical problem solvers and team builders

Manage all assignments across brand team squads

Coordinate with our internal and external partners

Ensure appropriate resourcing\staffing per assignment

Oversee and prioritize workflow across brand assignments

Assess project processes and workflows

Proactively provide gaps analysis and provide recommendations for improvements\enhancements

Work closely with the VP, Director of Creative Tech to strengthen our overall digital process acumen for the brand team
Objectives:
This role will enable to PM department to be more effective in the following areas:

PROCESS & WORKFLOW: accountable for the project management practices on their assignments, while understanding the nuances between projects and assignments. Proactively address and communicate changes and design the most efficient workflow for optimal business results. Learn best practices with project management methodology, tools, and techniques ensuring efficiency, quality control, and flawless execution of agency jobs.

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: understanding resource needs for their projects and how to manage allocation of said resources (both internal and external) with fluctuations in work. Review staffing plans + utilization for accuracy and flag budget concerns. Have confidence in responding to questions as they arise, internally and with clients. Partner with business leads for consistent weekly financial tracking and monthly financial reconciliation.

EXECUTION OF DELIVERABLES: proactively track critical path activities, anticipates risks, finding integration points, and create contingency plans in collaboration with brand PMs. Assist by being a clear escalation path to all personnel within assigned brands.
Requirements:

8+ years’ experience, with the last 4+ years focused in digital workstreams

Minimum 5 years directly managing a cross-functional team
-
Advertising agency experience required, healthcare industry or professional services firm strongly desired

Agile certified

Demonstrated experience in organizational workflow development and change management

Creative, innovative, enthusiastic problem solver demonstrating influencing skills; exhibits strong mentoring, teamwork, and client service orientation

Proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining staff. Enhances the professional development and growth of team members

Strong financial/budget management experience required. Can develops annual SOW’s and staffing plans, as well as monitor resource utilization and profitability for the agencies

Extensive knowledge and skills across digital development and delivery of omnichannel (websites, apps, email, banner, CMS, Veeva, custom builds) from discovery through delivery

Ability to apply leading-edge project management philosophy, tools, and techniques to our deliverables

Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships to gain trust and respect

Build constructive relationships to foster collaboration and cross-functional thinking

Polished and succinct verbal and written communication skills. Engage regularly with the account services, creative, tech, and strategy teams. Provide proactive updates to the agency Executive Leadership Teams
The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
