Full Job Description
As the Configuration Management (CM) POC on the Service Integration team, you will manage the configuration items within our large-scale program. You will be responsible for ensuring our CM baseline is updated and maintained to a high degree of accuracy and will perform regular audits of the CM baseline. You will work closely with the Project Integrators to incorporate any relevant changes rolled into the baseline. You will help integrate the configuration management tracking / ticketing systems, ensuring all changes to the operational environment can be traced through the documentation and approval process. Your organized, hands-on approach will help you stay ahead of challenges and deliver beyond expectations.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
TS/SCI with Poly required
5+ years of experience with Configuration Management or Systems Engineering in an IT environment
Ability to facilitate meeting with Program and Government personnel
Ability to manage project schedules and help improve site CM processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Extensive knowledge of MS Product Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Knowledge of Agile methodology
Documenting/developing CM processes
Experience with ServiceNow
ITIL v3 Foundations or ITIL 2011
ITIL Change Management certification
BA or BS degree
Ability to prepare and conduct briefings to diverse audiences
Ability to create project documentation
