We are currently looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for implementing a variety of human resource programs for Stone Clinical Laboratories. The Company will depend on your assistance in a number of important functions such as staffing, compensation and benefits, and training and development. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions

Including, but not limited to:
Managing the hiring process including advertising open positions, reviewing resumes, coordinating and conducting interviews, conducting reference and background checks/pre-employment drug screens, drafting offer letters.
Managing the onboarding process for new employees.
Managing the offboarding process.
Perform benefits administration, including enrollment, claims resolution, change reporting and communicating benefit information to employees.
Managing worker's compensation claims, unemployment claims, verifications of employment, etc.
Maintaining the employee handbook and organizational staffing chart.
Developing and implementing a performance management process.
Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leave, compensation, etc.
Provide high-quality advice and support to management on daily human resources issues.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Maintain human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 5 years’ Human Resources experience
Ability to work independently
Ability and flexibility to thrive in a start-up environment
Solid understanding of human resources policies and procedures
Strong knowledge of both federal and various state employment/labor laws
Working knowledge of MS Office
Excellent communication and people skills
Aptitude in problem-solving
Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
Qualifications & Educational Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree (in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or relevant field preferred)
Additional Qualifications & Skills

Preference will be given to applicants who have:
PHR certification (highly regarded)
Prior experience in healthcare
