The Senior Director, Marketing Communications will develop and implement the Lottery Marketing Communications Strategy and Plan. The role will manage a team of creative professionals that will work together collaboratively with the Product Management team to showcase IGT as Innovation leader in the Industry. The Lottery Marketing Communications team will uphold the IGT Brand Strategy and guidelines and at times may provide creative services to other areas of IGT, including Corporate Communications and P&T to ensure “one IGT”.
In Marketing Communications, articulates lottery products and services in a way that builds IGT’s leadership position and overcomes competitive challenges.
Works with subject matter experts in Technology, Retail, Product Development (Draw and Instant) and other departments to create compelling positioning statements for all products and services for utilization in bids, presentations and marketing collateral
Creates a library of written and visual assets that allows for consistency across all customer communication touchpoints including Proposals, MarCom and corporate communication teams
Upholds IGT’s brand guidelines and contributes to necessary evolutions where required.
Manages execution of MarCom activities for IGT’s Lottery division, ensuring messages are supportive of IGT Vision and Values and are following corporate standards.
Develops the annual marketing communications plan
Manages a staff of marketing communication specialists who will articulate IGT’s messages in a simple and compelling way
Oversees creation of all Lottery marketing messaging including:
Advertising strategy for trade journals and websites
Messaging for conferences and Trade Shows
Lottery pages of igt.com
Direct to Customer digital communication.
A proven track record of ground-breaking marketing communications preferably with Lottery/Gaming and/or Consumer Packaged Goods/Retail/Entertainment industry experience.
10 -15 years total experience, marketing communication or agency experience preferred
Ability to manage complex projects, deliver results and thrive in a demanding environment, requiring high degree of deadline-driven productivity, commitment, adaptability, communication, initiative and follow-through.
Experience managing internal creative department with a bias toward team-building, technical knowledge, and a passion for innovation, player insights and customer understanding.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Must possess outstanding collaboration skills, with proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders across department and business lines to accomplish goals
Must attract great talent and build effective teams with diverse experience and approaches
