The Neil Jones Food Company is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor at our TomaTek facility in Firebaugh, CA. The Neil Jones Food Company processes superior quality, fresh packed, vine-ripened California tomatoes and Pacific Northwest fruit. With headquarters in Vancouver, Washington, NJFC has been providing our nation’s discerning foodservice, retail, industrial and institutional customers the finest quality canned and pouched products for over 35 years. NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Tomatek in Firebaugh, CA.

Summary:
Responsible for overall preventive maintenance program including; mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, steam, water, vacuum and compressed air systems. Supervise maintenance personnel, ensuring a high level of employee productivity while managing departmental resources within budget and effectively supporting an efficient production operation. Provide technical support to maintenance personnel and plant management. Reports directly to Sr. Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervises operation, installation, repair and maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
Supervise maintenance staff to assure that all required maintenance and repairs are completed in an efficient manner and that the plant is prepared for all production requirements.
Coordinates building, fabrication and/or installation or modification of equipment to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
Troubleshoot, direct and/or coordinate with maintenance staff to effectively correct malfunctions with equipment, through determining root cause and eliminating repeated failures.
Train, coach and evaluate performance of maintenance staff as required.

Requirements:
Associates degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
2+ years directly related to maintenance supervisory with process analysis and troubleshooting experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of Preventative and Predictive Maintenance Management Systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and maintenance management software, preferably AMMS.
Food processing experience preferably in the tomato industry to include aseptic processing as well as formulated sauce processing.
Bilingual- English / Spanish a plus.
