Interns function as SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS provide continuity of instruction in the absence of the classroom teacher. Using a blended learning curriculum, the substitute teacher will lead lessons and activities for scholars that will support academic skill development in the mornings. In the afternoons, substitute teacher leads a specific enrichment program that augments the academic program, and supports the core learning objectives.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
A passion for working with students and families in underserved communities
High sense of possibility; unwavering commitment that every student receives a quality instruction and achieves at high levels
Demonstrates a wide range of instructional techniques based on instructional and content based best practices
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university
Indiana teachers certificate preferred/desired.
3+ years experience with primary grade levels
