Working closely with the Director of Strategic Growth & Business Development & Pain and Rehab Management team, the Business Development Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining successful market-appropriate business sales/development for BayCare Clinic's Pain and Rehab Medicine. Person will maintain a strong working relationships with providers and community members.

Qualifications/Certifications/Licensure Needed:

Bachelor Degree in healthcare, business, business development or related field, or equivalent experience required.

Strong background in health care and/or insurance desired.

Must be a self-starter and have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Possess a strong working knowledge of MS Office and other related software.

Adaptability to change is required.

Duties:

Identifies, negotiates and manages strategic business development initiatives for threaded procedures.

Working with the Business Development/Marketing team, plans, coordinates and implements all market introductions and business development activities.

Acts as liaison between referring providers and department physicians, management and staff.

Provides support to all existing BCC referral sources and any sources of business in all geographic locations.

Works collaboratively with business development, marketing and operational staff to develop new referral sources for providers performing threaded procedures.

Has a working understanding of regional market issues, including but not limited to third party payer mix, demographic mix, and all other factors that influence the business of BCC specialty providers.

Provides measurements and metrics for gauging success of the position.

Works in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times.
