As a counselor, your position is the most important. You are a role model for the campers in your every action, spoken word, and the way you carry the Kidventure torch of excellence. You will be engaging with the campers and building positive relationships with them through playing games, leading activities, and holding the kids to the same high expectations we hold ourselves to. We are about creating the ultimate environment where kids can just be kids, and we need great counselors to do that.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage a group of 6-10 campers
- Collaborate with other counselors to create the magic of summer camp
- Administer daily set-up and clean-up of camp
- Maintain and run a safe camp environment
- Understand that you are making a difference in the lives of kids
Position Qualifications:
- 18 or older
- Love working with kids, and experience with kids/camps is preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
- Available Monday through Friday during the summer weeks- 40 to 45 hours per week
- Sub positions available for varied schedules
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $14.50 per hour
