Production Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The primary duties of this position are to manage all repair and surplus assignments for the team of technicians, making certain products are repaired as required, tested and cleaned before sending to final Quality Control Inspection. Maintain on-time delivery and manage customer expectations and communications for all open production quotes and orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete a minimum of volume by the technician group assigned to the Team Leader
Evaluate all warranty returns for each technician within 24 hours of receipt from customer
Confirm completion of repairs by technicians within 24 hours of receipt of parts from vendor
Monitor all orders and warranties assigned to his/her technical group
Communicate any delays to the appropriate department for proactive customer contact
Insure that all appropriate notes are updated in CRM, SPECTRUM, PLCTRACK and other company information databases.
Insure that appropriate assets are used for testing of product
May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous management experience
Supervisory abilities
Organizational skills are a must

Being able to multi-task
Ability to work at fast pace
Attention to detail
Problem solving abilities
Good communication skills
Understanding of repair and testing procedures

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent required
One to Three years Technical School Diploma or experience
Technical or Industrial product knowledge a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
Frequent walking
Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion
Occasional sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds

BONUS/COMMISSION PLAN

Eligible for annual performance based bonus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The environment is a warehouse setting. Dress attire is casual but professional in a warehouse setting. All employees are required to wear “Radwear” (apparel with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received. Closed toed, hard sole heels are required. Employees must adhere to all Radwell Safety Requirements at all times (see safety manual posted online).
