The historic Country Club of Detroit in Grosse Pointe Farms has Full Time Seasonal (Now until 11/20/2018) & Part Time Seasonal (Now until 11/20/2018) openings on the Golf Course Maintenance Team. We are looking for hardworking, dedicated team members with a sense of urgency and drive that will be a key contributing factor to the effectiveness of our team. The Groundskeeper position entails the following basic responsibilities:

  • Ability to be on your feet working throughout the day
  • Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to work within a team atmosphere
  • Ability to be on time to work
  • Ability to work within a team atmosphere, and hold yourself accountable
  • Ability to be open minded, learn on the fly, and adapt to weather changes

Experience working on a golf course is a plus, but not required. Ability to work out in the elements is a must. We will train the right individuals! Daily duties would include, but no limited to, the following:

  • Golf Course Bunker/Sand Trap Maintenance
  • Golf Course Greens walk mowing
  • Golf Course Tees & Approaches Walk Mowing
  • Edging/String trimming work
  • Backpack blower work

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $12.00 to $14.00 /hour

Experience:

  • Documented Golf course/Landscaping: 2 years

Education:

  • High school or equivalent

License:

  • Valid Drivers License
