The Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is currently looking for a Cyber Systems Engineer to support IA compliance of enterprise Operating Systems and Applications of AKO systems.
This position will be located in McLean, VA (primary location); or Fort Belvoir, VA (secondary location). Full-time/Part-time telework may be available pending client directive.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support of IA compliance (DoD/Army) for enterprise Operating Systems and Applications of AKO systems.
Review, manage and report system compliance status with DoD directives and vulnerability compliance data to include HBSS, ACAS, SCAP, IAVMs, DISA STIGs.
Manage organization SIEM tools, including analysis and reporting of suspicious events.
Perform detailed analysis in support of OS and Application level vulnerabilities.
Support design/deployment/maintenance of new and existing security infrastructure capabilities.
Manage security incident reporting and provide leadership with After Action Reports following incidents.
Maintain compliance with security standards defined in Army policy.
Bachelors (BS) degree and 2 years' relevant experience, or Masters (MS) degree (4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
Experience with ArcSight ESM, including ArcSight Flex connectors and developing ArcSight content.
Experience using Splunk for log correlation, reduction, and automated alerting.
Understanding of Incident Analysis and reporting.
U.S. citizenship and must maintain active/current DoD Secret clearance.
DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification for IAT Level II
Experience analyzing logs and events from Web Application Firewalls.
Experience administering Host-Based Security System (HBSS), including agent and application deployment to systems.
Experience administering Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
Experience administering Intrusion Detection Systems such as McAfee IntruShield.
Experience applying DoD STIG settings in support of IA compliance.
Experience reviewing/validating/remediating vulnerability scan results.
Computing Environment Certificates (CEC) in Linux, Windows, ACAS and/or HBSS.
DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification for IAT Level III
