Outside salesperson will be calling on the upper East Tennessee as well as the Virginia territory as requested by management. Numerous established accounts as well as establishing new accounts.
You will be responsible for generating and maintaining business and strong relationships with customers.
You will make personal sales calls to customer’s establishment on a regular basis.
Also you will coordinate joint sales calls with customers and our vendors.
Outside sales personnel keep customers supplied with product literature, catalogs as well as new products. It is your duty to introduce and demonstrate new products to your customers as they become available.
Ensure all requests for quotes are completed on time.
You are responsible for working and closing profitable orders for our products.
Profitable margins are expected on your orders, this does vary from products to products as well as situations that could be dictated by competitive or establishing new customers.
Actively manage call schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a time efficient manner.
Maintain accurate sales records including, expense records, invoices, purchase orders as well as sales call logs. Sales call logs will be turned in once a week either on Monday or Tuesday for previous week. Sales meeting for all sales people will be held once a month to keep everyone up to date.
There will be sales training seminars that you will be required to attend from time to time; which will be paid by the company.
