This role advances the company’s social media presence and brand image through strategic leadership and comprehensive management of the social landscape which includes several social platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Tumblr, YouTube and others – and corresponding projects/programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Own integrated strategy for signature social/PR campaigns, projects, and programs including content development, creative execution and media strategy; ensure collaboration and communication with 3rd parties as well as internal functional groups such as Events, Public Relations, Advertising, Sales Channels, Care Center, Human Resources
Own social goals and design campaigns, projects and programs to achieve them; own analysis of performance data and provide interpretation and conclusions for future application
Lead review and optimization planning for YouTube Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Tumblr platforms; identify new areas where social presence would benefit company
Provide leadership and subject matter expertise for all social media platforms and programs to internal groups using social
Build relationships with cross-functional leaders and proactively present relevant social information/insights
Engage with U.S. Cellular media team in the design and delivery of solutions to build brand equity using social
Deploy social to appropriately amplify Local Marketing & Sponsorships and other in-market events
Oversee development of the annual master brand strategy & content calendar for social
Oversee the development of SEO strategies specific to social and online content
Own Bi-Annual Social Media Trends analysis and reporting
Reframe & launch programming including Ambassador Programing and Business Channel LinkedIn Content Program
Monitor and manage social conversations related to brand and category in addition to Social Listen Report by Insights Team
May have direct report responsibility

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related discipline such as advertising, digital agency or media
6+ years of relevant experience in B2C or B2B required
Skilled in digital marketing, social media management and analysis within a corporate or agency environment required
Experience designing and implementing social media strategy, maximizing latest capabilities on leading platforms
Experience working with internal partners and agency/other 3rd party vendors on strategy & creative, using leadership ability to coach and provide feedback required
Excellent written and verbal communications skills tailored to a wide-variety of audiences including presentation creation and delivery
Demonstrated success in project management, including project presentation creation & delivery, and project leadership
Familiarity with nontraditional digital communications such as blogs, podcasts and other user-generated content
Solid understanding of web and related technologies, including SEO
Ability to create content through writing, video, photo and graphics experience as it pertains to short form content creation is a plus
