Key Construction is currently seeking a Corporate Recruiter. This role is responsible for the full life-cycle recruiting to include sourcing, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative, cost effective and timely sourcing methods (internal and external) and for maintaining and enhancing the organizations recruiting practice by planning, implementing and evaluating programs and practices. The Corporate Recruiter will work closely with business leaders in various locations on strategic recruiting initiatives aligned with Key Construction’s business objectives. This position can/will work remotely and requires travel.

Essential Functions Include:

  • Source, screen and interview candidates for professional and support positions and make recommendations for hire
  • Provide innovative recruiting strategies and implementations to ensure continuous stream of exceptional candidates to support business needs
  • Develop a candidate pipeline, building relationships for future hiring needs
  • Support hiring managers in determining position-specific qualifications
  • Create recruiting metrics and maintain exceptional performance
  • Establish and manage an effective employer branding and an attractive social media recruiting presence
  • Leverage all aspects of sourcing and candidate development including job posting, job board mining, internet sourcing, social networking, employee referrals and networking events
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience; Manage the candidate journey and act as a candidate advocate, ensuring they are fully informed and updated
  • Act as a partner, consultant and advisor to management by developing and driving strategies to recruit talent in a highly competitive market
  • Improve the recruiting systems, reporting and tools currently in place
  • Continuously look at process improvements to enhance the recruiting experience
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years in corporate or contract recruiting, with an emphasis in the construction/engineering industries is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, construction/engineering or related field is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven knowledge of sourcing tools including social media or other niche advertising strategies
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Influencing abilities and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated
