Hours: 6am-3:30pm, M-Thurs; 6am-10am, Friday

We’re hiring for a Machine Operator in Oak Creek. This is a temp to hire position on 1st shift.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • First run a test panel and doing a pull test
  • Read shop packet and CVD (check, verified and Do) previous operator work content
  • Run a test panel and do a pull test 3 times per shift and the PVC tear off is marked with the time and date and put into a bin; put in a predetermined program into the edgebander controller, measure the thickness of the part, manually raise or lower the line height on the edgebander and feed the part into the machine
  • When the part exits the edgebander, repeat this step until all edges are applied; then move the part to the cleaning table where the part is buffed if needed with a hand held pneumatic buffer; the part is then cleaned using the proper solvent; all applicable labels are applied in a neat fashion to the bottom of the panel; re-verify the size of the panel and down stacks onto the appropriate skid
  • Print labels, maintain the TPM and log books for the machine
  • Able to use a computer and follow written/verbal instructions in English
  • Good oral and written communications skills
  • Basic problem solving skills
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, percentages, and fractions)
  • Print reading
  • Computer entry
  • Part number and shop order knowledge
  • Possess the ability to read and understand all applicable OMS's, SOE's, SI's and other documented manufacturing processes
  • Basic measurement skills; tape measure, ruler, go-no-go gauge
