AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking an Audio Visual Technician. Responsibilities of the Audio Visual Technician include:

Develops, programs, operates and maintains Video Teleconferencing Component Systems (VTC) and Audio Visual (A/V) suites.
Experienced programmer of Crestron, AMX, and Extron systems.
Proficient with commuter programming and writing code.
Evaluation of source code within existing AV control systems and ability to troubleshoot and/or optimize performance.
Analysis of both software and hardware solutions for optimal integration and communication.

Job Requirements
Clear knowledge and understanding of AV and VTC technology
Thorough understanding of Audio Video standards
Experience with VTC operations/installation/troubleshooting
Ability to create CAD drawings and blueprints to install Audio Visual equipment to specifications required.
Required Certification: Security+
Preferred Certifications: Crestron Programmer, AMX Programmer, Extron Programmer, Cisco Telepresence and networking engineering
Education: Associates Degree (BS Preferred) with 5 year of experience
Security Clearance: Top Secret (SCI Preferred)
