performs basic functions of setting up, serving, clearing, resetting and cleaning dining rooms for residents and guests. Maintains serving areas, dining room and kitchen prep areas in a neat, safe and orderly manner.
Knowledge of commercial kitchen practices and procedures and/or prior wait staff experience preferred. must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to understand VHP and department policies and procedures and operate departmental equipment, normally obtained through on-the-job training. Effective interpersonal communication skills in order to maintain cooperative work relationships. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
