Candidate:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be the primary contact and liaison for existing and potential customers in a fast paced environment.
Duties would entail interacting not only with the our customers on a regular basis but also with many levels of personnel within our organization. You will be expected to quote new projects, enter purchase orders and provide any support needed in a timely and professional manner.
Job Requirements:
- Communicate with customers by phone, email, or in person concerning new or existing orders, returns, shipments and products.
- Quote orders and follow through with the customer to be certain their requirements have been met
- Receive, process and enter orders
- Initiate sample requests for new projects and document necessary specifications.
- Prepare sample request boxes for new production orders or product inquiries for shipment
- Communicate to customer by phone, email, or in person concerning shipment delays, shortages, or other quality related issues.
- Make changes or cancellations to purchase orders as needed and distribute the changes to the appropriate personnel
- Initiate inventory requests from customer to the warehouse supervisor.
- Initiate customer requirements to both production and quality in a timely manner to ensure production and shipping conformity
- Generate label information to be used by the production floor for producing shipping labels
- Initiate package/product tracers when necessary with the appropriate carriers
- Maintain the customer database and make corrections as needed
- Keep accurate records of all specific documentation per customer and internal requirements
- Maintain files for review of all ongoing and past production runs
- Handle customer complaints, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Notify the quality manager of any complaint for ISO documentation and tracking
- Obtain and share customer feedback information both positive and negative to the appropriate personnel in production and quality
- Professional dress and demeanor, ongoing product knowledge which can be relayed to new and existing customers
